Mocktail Toddy

The weather is quickly changing. With the nights becoming cooler, and the days shorter, a warm cozy mocktail could be just what you need at the end or start of the day. Bursting with flavor, this warm and soothing hot toddy recipe is just the ticket to get you in the fall and holiday spirit.

Servings: 1

Ingredients

7 oz. hot black or rooibos tea. Rooibos makes for a caffeine free alternative.

1 tsp. ground nutmeg

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

1 tsp ground cloves

1 tsp. lemon juice

1 Tbsp. honey

Lemon wedge decorated with cloves and/or cinnamon sticks for garnish.

Directions

Step 1

In a large mug, add spices, honey and lemon juice.

Step 2

Fill mug with hot tea, stir until well mixed. Add garnish if desired.

Step 3

Cozy up and enjoy.
